'Lake Michigan Delight' was designed by architect Bob Lange to follow the topography of the land and face the panoramic view of Good Harbor Bay. Lake Michigan, North and South Manitou Islands, Pyramid Point and Whaleback can be seen from every room (except two bathrooms) in the house through its oversized sliding doors and picture windows that fill the lake side of this contemporary home.

Enjoy morning coffee on the deck off the living room. Feel the beat of waves hitting the beach and listen to the the music of the birds overhead. Far out in the bay, you might catch a glimpse of a long Great Lakes freighter as it moves between North and South Manitou Islands.

Later in the morning, follow the steps to the deck on the beach. Relax in a beach lounge, read a good book, take a refreshing dip in the cool waters of Lake Michigan, or stroll along the water's edge and search the sand for Michigan Bluestone or the better-known Petoskey stones.

Ending a day at the beach, hose off the sand and slip into the warm waters of the hot tub which sits on the house's lower level deck. Afterwards, take a short trip to Leland's Fishtown to buy some whitefish, stop at a road side stand to pick up locally grown fruits and vegetables and choose a bottle of wine from one of the nearby wineries.
After a delicious dinner created from local food cooked on the grill, enjoy a sunset from the dining room, the deck off the living room or down on the beach. A campfire and roasted marshmallows end a day that will delight everyone in your group.
