Whether you are relaxing on the screened porch, bouncing on the joggling board on the front balcony, kicking back while the children play happily for hours in the play yard; we know that you will have a lot of fun at The Shack and have many happy memories.

The Shack is located one block from the beach on the northern end of North Litchfield. The northern end is the best part of North Litchfield because the beach is never crowded. There are no public parking lots or condos nearby which lends to the lower density. Our beach cottage is near Huntington Beach State Park yet buffered from the people who visit there. A nice beach walk or bike ride there gains you free access inside the conservation park with a fascinating Moorish castle. There's also a graded beach access nearby which allows you to ride a bike, roll a beach cart or pull a kiddie trailer inside (very convenient!). North Litchfield Beach is safe, family-friendly and dog-friendly. Midway Fire & Rescue patrols for safety and very rarely do people get tickets for anything (usually just a warning for no glass on the beach). So stick your toes in the sand, enjoy your drink, and let your kids and dog/s run free. Our fun beautiful beach house and beach is where you want to be!
