About Our Villa

Our Grand Bahama penthouse villa has been rated platinum, the highest of four categories as rated by Wyndham Vacation Rentals, placing it among the top 20% of villas managed by Wyndham at Bahama Bay! The most recent upgrade, completed in January, 2015 is the renovation of the kitchen, including painting and adding cabinets, replacement of cabinet doors, installation of new granite countertops, sink, faucet, backsplash and under-cabinet lighting!

The first thing you will notice when approaching our Grand Bahama penthouse villa is that it is one of only four penthouse villas at the resort situated on the second floor, rather than the third floor, affording access to the spaciousness of a Grand Bahama penthouse villa with very few steps. The villa is situated just above a 2 bedroom villa that we also own, making rental of both great for families and friends travelling together, but still wanting to maintain some individual privacy or for a special occasion or family reunion. Combined, both units can sleep up to 14!

Upon opening the door to our villa, you will feel as though you are on a tropical island. The tropical-themed, beautifully appointed, fully equipped penthouse villa boasts vaulted ceilings as well as over 1700 square feet of living space and many upgrades not found in the standard 3 bedroom villas. It is also filled with many unique owner-added features and artwork as well as new carpeting throughout.

An open concept features the kitchen, dining and living area extending onto the screened veranda, which overlooks a very private setting landscaped with tropical vegetation. The private veranda, which stretches across the rear of the villa with access from either the living area, master bedroom, or second master bedroom via sliding glass doors, features an outdoor table that seats 6 and is a wonderful place to enjoy meals or just relax.

The fully equipped kitchen area features granite countertops, premium stainless steel appliances, under-cabinet lighting and a separate cupboard or bar area (unique to our villa) where you can prepare your favorite drinks. The beautifully decorated dining/living area features tropical wicker furniture, a newly refurbished sleeper sofa and loveseat, flat screen TV and a ceiling fan/light adorned in palm fronds that will keep you cool on a warm summer evening.

The first master bedroom, conveniently located just off the living area, includes a king bed, access to the veranda via separate sliding glass doors, ceiling fan with light, flat screen TV, spacious walk-in closet and a spacious en-suite bath which includes double sinks, a walk-in shower and separate soaking tub. On the opposite side of the living area is a second master bedroom featuring a queen bed, flat screen TV, ceiling fan and light, and access to a separate screened veranda via sliding glass doors. A third bedroom, just off the kitchen, features two twin beds, a flat screen TV, and shares a bath with the second bedroom. Children will be sure to enjoy the beach-themed decor in the third bedroom! The large shared bath features double sinks, a walk-in shower and separate soaking tub.

The villa also features a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer.

Mambo's - Mambo's is as fun as it sounds. Enjoy burgers and snacks while lounging poolside on a beautiful sunny day. Friendly and relaxed service along with great food makes this outdoor grill one of the best lunch spots around.

Tradewinds - This casually indoor/outdoor restaurant is located lakeside offering guests spectacular views of Lake Davenport. Featuring casual lunches and a full dinner menu, Tradewinds offers guest the perfect dining experience for the entire family as well as fast, friendly poolside service for your favorite drink or snack.
