INSIDE THE HOUSE

Meander through lush gardens to the screened-in porches, then enter into the dining room. The airy living room features vaulted ceilings, delightfully patterned furniture, and seating for 5. Cooks will love the bright, open kitchen, stocked with everything from granite counters to a juicer to an LCD flat-screen TV. The dining room offers a special place to take your meals with glossy gold curtains and seating for 4, and a 2nd living area boasts a 36” flat screen, an L-shaped couch, and plenty of books and games for your enjoyment.

A lush queen-size bed awaits in the master bedroom, along with a 46” wall-mounted TV for relaxing movie nights. The 2nd bedroom features quietly ornate decor and a full-size bed. A full bath features pretty tile work, a clawfoot tub and a stand-up shower; the quaint half-bath features all-white accents.

Outside, the fragrant garden is furnished with lounge chairs and a fireplace. There's also 2 screened-in porches and a breezy deck stocked with a BBQ, outside heater, a sink and countertop.

Set in the heart of Sonoma wine country, this rural idyll is surrounded by the rose gardens of Garden Valley Ranch.

But don’t let the solitude fool you - it’s only a 4-minute drive into Petaluma, where there are cafes, shops and restaurants to while away your day. Head to the Lagunitas Brewing Company for live music and snacks with your craft beer, or indulge yourself at the Petaluma Creamery where you’ll find handmade ice creams and cheese.

If that’s not enough, it’s well worth the 25-minute drive to the Marin French Cheese Company, where you can sample a range of delectable cheeses and pick the perfect pairing for your bottle of wine.

And of course this is wine country, so there are plenty of cellar doors to choose from within an easy drive. Pick out a bottle and head down to the coast, a pleasant 20-minute country drive - what could be nicer?
