Our charming 1927 Spanish style cottage was completely remodeled in 2010 keeping the integrity of the original architecture with the ease of California living. We have two bedrooms each with queen sized beds and a small study/office attached to the master bedroom. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub for a nice long soak if you're inclined. Our house stays cool in the summer because of the way it's designed and we have an overhead fan and oscillating floor fan for additional comfort and central heating for winter. Our kitchen is fully equipped, we love to cook! The detached garage has laundry facilities also. We are centrally located between the laid back beach town of Ventura and the artist's colony of Ojai, just an easy 10 minute drive either way. There are hiking and biking trails just steps away fromur front door and we often see deer come down from the adjacent hiilside to graze. Our house is on a street just off the 2 lane highway that connects the beach to the mountains inland perfect to access backcountry adventures or go to the beach! We are 35 min. from Santa Barbara and about 11/2 hrs. to downtown Los Angeles making a perfect location for sightseeing.
