Enjoy this beautiful island from your deck or porch! The island of Brigantine, NJ is a beautiful, secluded, relaxing beach oasis that most people don't even know about! There's only one way to reach it: by traveling all the way through Atlantic City on one highway. This helps keeps boatloads of tourists out, and instead creates an atmosphere of conscientious people that truly want to be there to enjoy all of its amenities! And such amenities...gorgeous white sand beaches with views stretching to the casinos and boardwalks of Atlantic City if you look to your right, and a view towards miles of protected beach coastline if you look to your left. One can walk and jog for miles in either direction, or simply relax and play in the water, or watch the waves. The casinos, nightlife, boardwalks, restaurants, and shopping of Atlantic City are 10 minutes away! The island is flat and thus perfect for bike riding, which is wonderful at night, when hardly anyone is out. There's an amazing playground for children, with all kinds of structures they can play on. Cape May Zoo is beautiful and interesting - kids and adults love it. It's a bit of a ride, but well worth it. And don't forget the crabbing down the street. And for the children - Storybook Land is wonderful and just about 20 minutes away!
