A covered outdoor dining area boasts a built in BBQ and fireplace, with a huge grassy area for recreation. It’s close to downtown Palm Springs, hiking and golf at Indian Canyons.

INSIDE THE HOUSE

This home is designed to make the most of the Palm Springs sunshine, with banks of windows and sliding glass doors opening from the living area to the yard outside. There’s a couch and chairs seating 5, travertine stone fireplace with glass doors, and an open concept design flowing through to the dining area. A large wooden table seats 10, and is well catered for by the huge kitchen. Granite countertops and an island, stainless steel appliances and bar seating make this a welcoming spot ready for concocting a snack or turning out fine cuisine.

And when the weather’s too nice to stay in, open those glass doors and step out to the gorgeous yard. It boasts a lap pool, hot tub and covered patio as well as a grassy space populated with sun loungers and sympathetic plantings. A BBQ gas grill and double sided fireplace mean al fresco dining without setting a foot inside.

At the end of the day there’ll be no arguing over bedrooms—each of the 5 has a king bed and its own unique charms. Choose from the master bedroom, with access to the back yard, the second or third bedrooms each with a desk and chair. The fourth is separated from the rest of the house, offering extra privacy. A charming fifth bedroom features French doors that open onto the patio. The master en-suite bathroom has a separate soaker tub as well as a walk-in shower, and there are walk-in showers in the other 3 full bathrooms.

‘The Mesa’ neighborhood is home to a number of celebrities, with famous homes to see along the street. The home is only 3 minutes from downtown Palm Springs, and close to Indian Canyons golfing and hiking opportunities. Head up to North Indian Canyon Drive, a few minutes away, and explore boutique shops, cultural centers and upmarket bistros.

There are great events happening all year starting with the Independent Film Festival in January, BNP tennis in Indian Wells, Modernism week, Tour de Palm Springs and Coachella, so no matter when you come, you won’t be bored!
