INSIDE THE HOUsE

The driveway and garage have combined space for 3 cars. From there, walk to the French doors while taking in the gorgeous hillside. Step inside and find stacked laundry facilities to the left and tile flooring underfoot.

Just beyond the laundry is a full bath with shower/tub combo. To the right, the 3rd bedroom is furnished with a full-size bed, 20” TV, and beachy décor.

Straight ahead is the living room, furnished with a bright blue couch with room for 3, a plush striped love seat, and a 42” flat screen with cable and a DVD player. There are plenty of board games to choose from, and a cozy gas fireplace to warm you on a windswept night.

The open-concept kitchen is a cook’s dream, adjacent to the living room. It features a wood dining table with 4 chairs, a stainless steel double door fridge, gas stove and oven, and dishwasher. Get a peek at the ocean views from the big, double-bay sink.

From the kitchen, step outside and onto the stone patio, where you'll find an open-air outdoor show-er (perfect for post- beach), gas grill, hot tub, and plenty of beach toys. A wooden deck gets you closer to the Pacific… and a set of stairs to the beach take you even closer still!

Enjoy an unforgettable oceanfront meal at a dining table for 6, then take the conversation to the deck’s oceanfront lounge chairs. It’s easy to take a sunset stroll on the ocean: steps lead to sandy Faria Beach.

Back inside the main entrance, take the stairs up to 2 additional bedrooms. To the right is bedroom 2, where mountain views, a queen-size bed, 19” TV, and spacious closet await. An en suite bath has a shower/tub combo.

The master suite is located across the hall—here you'll find stunning ocean vistas, lots of natural light, and a California king-size bed. Romantic touches include a gas fireplace and love seat sitting area. The en suite bath features a walk-in shower with dual shower heads, beautiful earth-tone tiling, 2 separate sink vanities, and a private toilet area.

Back on the landing, take the spiral staircase up to the rooftop, where 360° views of the Pacific will take your breath away.

THE LOCATION

This beach house sits right next to one of the best beaches in Southern California—sandy Faria Beach—and Mondo's Beach, a mecca for surfers and spectators, is close by. Faria Beach Café

offers mouthwatering breakfast burritos and locally famous coffee cake just over 1 mile from home, and Anacapa Brewing serves up classic American pub fare and craft brews just over 5 miles away.

Looking for a change of scenery? Beach-bum your way around town and visit Ventura State Beach, Solimar, and Emma Wood within a 15-minute drive. Here you're also 19 minutes south of Santa Barbara and 10 minutes north of Ventura central, so hop in the car and explore—the drive is
