Enjoy a long nature drive to the secluded Breezy Hill Cabin. The Breezy Hill Cabin is located amidst 20 acres of SE Ks best wildlife habitat which includes strip-mine ponds, native grass, wildflowers, shrubs and a hillside of hardwoods. The strip-mine ponds are an old reminder of the coal mining activity that changed the landscape of SE Kansas years ago. At one time the coal mining was thought of as an environmental disaster has now turned into a wildlife sanctuary. The area is home to a variety of migratory song birds, white-tailed deer, wild turkey and an assortment of other wildlife. The cabin is fully electric with AC/heat it one bedroom that sleeps two comfortably, a couch, a kitchen with refrigerator, electric stove, pots, pans, kitchen utensils and large counter to prepare meals or enjoy a cocktail. Bath consist of a shower and the other basics. There is a front deck and side deck available for enjoying the outdoors or star gazing. If you want some peace and quiet off-the-grid this is the spot!
