Comfortable beach house near the west end of the island. Wide beaches. Less traffic. Very close to beach-- just a few-minutes walk-- with dedicated beach access. (New boardwalk with no stairs is easy for wagons.) Ideal for families. Nice beach walk to inlet for shell gathering.
Holden Beach was chosen as the best family beach in 2015. There is a pier for fishing as well as surf fishing. Parks for children. The best homemade ice cream in the state. Good restaurants, convenient grocery store.
The house is close to the intracoastal waterway though just a 2 minute walk to the beach.
House is designed for maximum comfort. Rocking chairs and umbrella on porch, and comfortable slider chairs under house for cool breezes.
