My two bedroom cottage is nestled in the rain forest 30 minutes south of Hilo. It’s private and secluded yet centrally located for all that the Puna district has to offer.

The ¼ acre property is surrounded by large Eucalyptus, Ohia and Avocado trees. Nestled amongst those are a large variety of plants and fruits including: bananas, pineapples, pomelos, tangerines and many tropical flowers.

The cottage comfortably sleeps 2-4 people and has two bedrooms. The front bedroom is off the kitchen, has a full sized bed, a private sliding glass door to the front lanai and direct access to the bathroom. There is a folding screen that can be used for extra privacy from the rest of the house. The back bedroom is entered through the french doors, has a queen sized bed, and private access to the backyard.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, all cooking dishes and utensils as well as some of my favorite cookbooks. I have a satellite TV, DVDs, CDs, books and internet for your at home entertainment. There is a boogie board and snorkel gear as well as beach towels for your outdoor adventures.

Enjoy day outings to Warm Ponds, Tide Pools, Volcano National Park and numerous farmers markets, then come home to your tropical getaway and fall asleep to the lulling songs of the coqui frogs.
