Enjoy total relaxation at this cheerful lakefront cottage. This home is super clean and bright and fully equipped with everything you need. We even include hi-speed wireless Internet service for your personal laptop. Just bring your favorite foods, easily available at the nearby Shoprite Supermarket. This affordable vacation property is designed for the perfect romantic getaway or a low-key gathering of up to five people (one Queen bed, one double bed, one single). You decide whether you prefer lazy days or taking advantage of the vast selection of activities and attractions in the Poconos. At the property, there are 2 kayaks and a jon boat for your boating pleasure. Five community badges are included, which allow guests to enjoy community facilities: outdoor pool (closed after Labor Day), sand beach, basketball court, and tennis courts.

A SUMMER DAY BY THE LAKE: Greet the new day with a tranquil view of the lake and the sounds of birds chirping. Sit on the deck, sipping your favorite morning beverage as you watch nature wake up around you. Walk on the back lawn to your private beach on the lake. On the large dock, you can sunbathe, sit back on the comfortable built-in lounge and read or quietly contemplate the flowing water--you can even fish right off the dock. Have lunch on the picnic table on the beach or on the dining table on the deck. Spend a lazy afternoon on the quilted hammock, reading, napping, or just gazing at the treetops.

You are likely to spot some of the many local birds and animals that live near and around the lake. Most frequent visitors are ducks, geese, and deer, along with the more common songbirds and small animals. Watch as the birds, including hummingbirds, stop at the feeder by the deck. You can even enjoy the wonderful view of the lake while lounging indoors in the living room.

As the day winds down, have a glass of wine while watching the sun begin to set from the comfort of your private dock. Prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen or treat yourself to a barbecue on the deck. As night falls push up a chair to the outdoor fire pit, roast some marshmallows, and gaze at the stars or snuggle up inside while watching a movie or enjoy a night of casinos and fine dining—whatever strikes your fancy that evening!

Mount Pocono is a small old-fashioned town, near the I80 and I380 connector roads and smaller roads such as 611, which provide easy access to all of the Poconos area attractions. There is an affordable public golf course and a quaint soda fountain shop, first-run movie theater, and miniature golf, right in town--15 minutes away from the cottage. So much to enjoy, so little time--you’ll just have to come back for another stay at the lake!

The cottage is located within easy driving distance of the Pocono Mountain resort area attractions. These include: Camelbeach, Great Wolf, and Kalahari Water Parks, The Crossings Outlet Center, Poconos NASCAR Raceway, Mount Airy Lodge and Casino, Delaware Water Gap, Great Wolf Indoor Water Park, Memorytown, Tobyhanna State Park, Claws and Paws Wildlife Park, Poconos Brewing Company, and Jim Thorpe for the area’s best white water rafting and antiquing.

Other activities include horseback riding, golf, ATV rentals, hiking, biking, miniature golf, wildlife viewing, shopping, wine tasting, restaurants, cinemas (including a drive-in movie theater) sightseeing, swimming, and canoeing.

A security deposit of 1/2 the rental is due upon booking to secure the dates. A refundable $300 damage deposit is fully refundable after departure provided all rental agreement conditions have been met. The final remaining balance of the rental is due 15 days before arrival.
