Ice Fishing for walleye, northern pike. lake trout, splake, and crappies. Local guides available for hire as are ice fishing shacks and portable fish houses rentals.

X-country skiing- Excellent groomed trails nearby, and an endless assortment of back country skiing options

Snowshoeing- the best there is, head any direction from the cabin door.

This beautifully hand crafted guest house was built from mature red and white pine logs that we cut from the Lake One forests and then had hauled the few miles to our Jasper Lake homestead. The Guest House easily sleeps 9 guests but there are dishes, bed linens, towels and washcloths provided for up to 12 guests. Two downstairs bedrooms, one with a Full size Bed, another with two Twin Beds. Upstairs three Full beds and two Twin beds along with a half bathroom. Downstairs bathroom has a washer and dryer. There is a fully equipped kitchen with an outside L.P. gas grill. We have a charcoal grill and smoker available upon request. (Charcoal and wood chips not incl.) The sitting area has a real wood heating fireplace, and the dining area is located in the sun room overlooking the lake. A small breakfast table is available directly off the kitchen area. The front deck overlooks Jasper Lake; is 400 square feet in size with a large picnic table. An outside fire pit with benches is also available for guest to enjoy an evening campfire. An open air outside fish cleaning table is available as well. Three aluminum canoes with paddles, seat cushions, and life jackets come with the cabin for guest use.

A very highly regarded fishing and canoe guide service (2016 marks the 34th. season that Don Beans has been serving the lake country vacationer) is available on premises along with additional outdoor oriented services: fishing and day trip packages; additional canoes, kevlar canoe upgrade, towboat service to remote BWCA and Quetico Park wilderness access points including the Canada border, vehicle shuttling of gear and canoes to area landings, camping equipment rentals, and complete outfitting services. We can also arrange fresh bakery products from the Jasper Company Bake Shop and picnic lunches to be delivered to your door daily.
