Our charming hide-away in the quiet residential section of the French Quarter is cozy and welcoming. And it's a wonderful place to call home while you explore New Orleans! Our Condo has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a living room and small kitchen. The exposed brick walls and fireplace (non-working) lend a historic feel to the suite. It offers the privacy and quiet to guests looking for a charming place to become a part of the life of New Orleans. Sleeps ONLY 3 MAX (2 in Queen Bed and 1 on couch)

Located in the residential area of the French Quarter, the building is one of New Orleans great examples of Greek Revival Architecture. It has a stately pillared porch, heavy cornices shadowed by wide, plain friezes, and bold simple moldings. It was designed by the same architect that designed the St. Louis Cathedral and was built in 1847. The land it sits on was once a Barracks of the hospital built by the French Army. The Condo is on the 2nd floor with a small balcony overlooking the lush private courtyard. Both the Balcony and Courtyard are yours to enjoy while you stay. We're 1 block from Royal street for shopping, 2 blocks from Bourbon Street, and only steps away from dozens of great restaurants and neighborhood bars. The French Quarter is 'made for walking.' The blocks are small and compact. 2 Blocks to Decatur Street and the French Market. 4 blocks to Jackson Square and the Cathedral. There is so much to see and do and you can walk to Pat O'Brien's, Cafe du Monde, or Bourbon Street. Our little escape is a great place and we hope you'll enjoy the 'City That Care Forgot.'

Located two streets away from Bourbon, and 4 Streets over from St. Ann, within a 5-7 minute walk you can be at OZ, Bourbon Pub and Parade, Good Friends, Rawhide, Napoleon's Itch, The Clover Grill, and Lafitte's in Exile. Close to several small grocery stores and liquor stores too!

Start your day in the Courtyard with Mimosa's, coffee, or beignets. Enjoy leisurely walking the Quarter, a Steamboat Ride on the River, and cocktails on the balcony before dancing the night away on Bourbon Street or listening to some of the country's best Jazz Musicians at clubs within blocks of the unit. The City is one of America's Jewels and can be your for exploring and falling in love with. Don't blame us when you want to return to her again and again and again!

No Pets, No Smoking. Coin operated washer and dryer available on the property. Secure gated entrance prevents unauthorized access onto the property. Parking is available in the French Market Lot, where you can park and walk a short 2 blocks back and forth from the unit to your car.

The condo also contains a comprehensive Video Library of movies filmed in and about New Orleans for your viewing pleasure! We know, we know - you don't come to New Orleans to stay inside and watch TV. But who knows when a rainy day, a unexpected illness, or the exhaustion of 'playing Tourist' just demands that you slow down for a bit? We have (and are constantly on the look for) movies that were filmed in New Orleans. Some are great, some are cheesy, some have super music, and all have wonderful scenes of New Orleans past that you'll never be able to see any other way. So look through the catalog (that is constantly updated) and pick a thriller, a romance, a jazz documentary, or a Swashbuckling adventure with Jean Lafitte and pop it in the DVD and enjoy yet another perspective of New Orleans! You won't find this amenity any where else! And if you have any information about films shot on location in New Orleans we will be delighted to add to our knowledge of New Orleans Film History. She is becoming the 'Hollywood of the South' again for good reason. But the first films were shot here in 1898 and there is a great body of work worth seeing.
