We are also close to many other rivers such as the Elk, Back Fork of Elk, Holly, Williams, and Cranberry Rivers along with many trout streams and Big Ditch Lake. We are within a few miles of the National Forest, Camp Caesar, Baptist Camp, Cowen and Webster Springs, WV. Hiking, hunting and ATV riding is enjoyed in the area by many people. Our Getaway features a newly updated 3 bedrooms, 2 bath ranch style home with open living area with a propane fireplace in the living room, wrap around front porch, covered patio with table for dining outside, fire pit for evenings filled with tall tales around the campfire, satellite TV, landline telephone, city water, washer & dryer plus WIFI.

While enjoying our getaway you can enjoy kayaking & canoeing and fishing in the Gauley River across the road or one of the many other rivers with-in half an hour of the property. If hiking and exploring is what you like to do the National Forest is near-by. If you enjoy snow skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing then check-out Snow Shoe and Silver Creek Ski Resorts with-in an hours drive of the property. Also with-in an hours drive of the getaway is Golf courses at Snow Shoe Ski Resort and Cherry Hill Country Club, plus Summersville and Sutton Lakes.
