Warm and inviting, this log cabin is nestled in the woods just 5 minutes from 3 ski areas, 2 state parks, Dolly Sods Wilderness Area, Blackwater Falls, Golf, and many hiking and biking trails. 2 bedrooms and a sleep loft 2 large bathrooms, cathedral ceilings, ceiling fans, large stone wood-burning fireplace, and large shaded wooden deck make this the perfect place to warm up after a long day on the slopes, or to cool down from the city heat. Our outdoor hot tub is always a fun feature for guests. King bed in master, 1 queen bed, sleep sofa. Bunk bed in loft with 2nd bath. Dining table seats 6 with 2 barstools at kitchen island. 32' TV w/satellite and internet plus flat screen TV in downstairs bedroom. In non-winter months, you can listen to the rain on the metal roof, and enjoy a lazy afternoon on the front porch swing in the wonderful, cool mountain climate.
This rustic retreat is a great all-season escape - plenty of privacy yet easily accessible to skiing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and golf all within 5 miles. Blackwater Falls State Park and Canaan Valley State Park within 10 miles.
