It sits on top of a hill overlooking the Valle del Mugnone, a gorgeous valley that offers panoramic views of gently slopping hills cultivated with well-tended olive groves as well as views of the town of Fiesole and the city of Florence. Giovanni Boccaccio in his 13th Century Decameron, locates some of his stories in this valley. The large shared pool, not visible from the house and surrounded by vegetation is salt treated. A few minutes away from the house there is the Fiesole/Caldine train station, with free parking, where the train reaches the Santa Maria Novella Central Station in Florence in 12 minutes. In Tuscan countryside 15 minutes from Florence, the Hayloft was restructured recently. On the lower level there is one double bedroom with bathroom/shower as well as the fully equipped kitchen and living room , with two glass doors that open on a small exclusive farmyard. Through an inner staircase you can reach the upper level with one bedroom with bathroom/shower and two single beds, which can also use an independent entrance, that opens on an exclusive grass lawn. There is also an outer staircase on the back of the hayloft, that connects upper and lower levels. Both bedrooms are airconditioned. Washer in the apartment.

My wife and our two children live on the property. My wife and I are professionals, she is a retired business administrator and I’m a Pianist and a Professor of Piano at the Conservatory of Ferrara. Our son and daughter,as well as managing the farm, are both University students.
