Villa Indah Manis is a glamorous four-bedroom hillside sanctuary on Bali's Bukit Peninsula, home to many of the island's best beaches. Bordered by a tree-lined valley with views of the ocean, the property is a great choice for weddings and celebrations. Indah Manis is also well suited for families, presenting five-star service and an abundance of facilities for all ages, including a swimming pool, car and driver, spa, gym, entertainment area with a home theatre and petanque court. The villa sleeps eight adults and four children, plus two extra adults when rented in conjunction with the adjacent, self-contained Bulan Madu honeymoon villa.

At Indah Manis we have drawn on our experience in the hospitality industry to create a destination villa that embraces all the ingredients of comfort, style, entertainment and recreation. The result is a tranquil, four (or five)-bedroom retreat perched upon a hillside on Bali's Bukit Peninsula with a beautiful view of the ocean, distant volcanoes and Bali's south-west coastline. As well as being an ideal family holiday choice, Villa Indah Manis has earned a reputation as a superb wedding and events venue.

In this out-of-town setting with its cool breezes and serene ambiance, we are aware that you may have little desire to go out to dine or for entertainment, so we have endeavoured to provide everything that you might need right here at the villa. Facilities at Indah Manis include a 14-metre infinity-edge swimming pool, gym, cosy air-conditioned TV room with surround-sound and a library of movies.

Further indulgences come in the form of an on-site spa, a sunset bar, and an excellent team of staff, including an in-house chef. Kids of all ages will enjoy our fine selection of games ranging from billiards, petanque and darts to a stack of board games. If, however, you do wish to explore further afield after all, the region is blessed with some of the most idyllic beaches in Bali, as well as a world-class golf course we have a car and driver on standby for up to eight hours a day inclusive of cost. And if you're looking for romance, look no further than our fully self-contained Villa Bulan Madu honeymoon suite. Complete with its own private entrance and pool, this little love shack can be rented independently or in conjunction with the main villa.

Living and dining
Blessed with sea views over the treetops, the semi-open-air living and dining pavilion is the social heart of Villa Indah Manis. A place to congregate in fan-cooled comfort enhanced by fresh breezes drifting in through the room's open front, which leads out onto the pool deck. This large pavilion, with its soaring roof, is flanked by a fish-filled lily pond and serenaded by the sound of bubbling water. A modern dining table for ten at one end serves for both formal and casual meals, while at the other end of the room guests can relax on sofas and lazy chairs. After dark, the pavilion takes on a different persona, softly lit with two impressive wrought iron chandeliers and surrounded by the mellow glow of garden lamps, its glamour is enhanced by the lights of Kuta and Seminyak, and by distant planes coming in to land.

Media room
Known as the Maharajah Room, the media room is a cosy, air-conditioned den, decorated in warm deep orange tones, harmonised with rich silk cushions. In this little snug, families can get together, sink into the comfy sofa and watch TV or choose from a wide variety of movies on the Movie Box or from a library of DVDs. Surround-sound completes the home theatre experience. An alternative option is to settle down for an evening of board games, selected from the big stack on the shelf unit; there's even a Mah Jong set.

Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen is available for guest use should they desire but is predominantly the domain of the villa chef and his team.

Outdoor spaces
Apart from the beautifully landscaped gardens most of Indah Manis's outdoor activity takes place around the main living pavilion, where sunloungers sit to one side of the pool, while a table and a thatched cabana bar dishes out the drinks and alfresco dining from the other. The lighting here at night is stupendous and is guaranteed to get the party started.

Downstairs below the pool deck are the open-sided entertainment space with billiard table and darts board, the spa and gym, and a petanque court.


Kamboja master bedroom
The master suite has pride of place at Indah Manis with patio doors that fold back to enjoy an open-air terrace with splendid views. This romantic air-conditioned bedroom is named after the fragrant frangipani flower and distinguished by a bold purple decor. Under a soaring roof, the room is furnished with a canopied king-size bed that you won't want to leave. Here, you can watch TV from the comfort of your bed, or soak under the stars in the sunken circular bathtub which awaits in your ensuite garden bathroom.

Jempiring guestroom
Named after the sweet-scented gardenia flower, the air-conditioned Jempiring room beckons its guests across a lily pond before welcoming them with a chartreuse-green theme and plenty of space. Furnished with twin beds that convert to a queen-sized bed, together with two sofas that can be made up as single beds, this room is perfect for a group of up to four kids or a couple with two young children. All age groups will love the ensuite garden bathroom, which is fitted with twin washbasins and a rain shower and features a stunningly lit Balinese statue framed within a glassless window.

Alamanda guestroom and Melati annex
Alamanda is a trumpet-shaped flowering climber, and this peaches-and-cream-themed guestroom of the same name, with its king-size bed and cosy annex, is perfect for either a couple or a growing family. The orange-toned Melati (jasmine) annex serves a dual purpose as either a private sitting room or as a kids bedroom, sleeping up to two children on the two sofas, which convert to twins or a double bed. The two rooms share a bathroom with the considerate touch of separate doors leading into each room.

Cempaka guestroom
Cempaka (also meaning Frangipani) is the only upstairs suite at the villa, and has extraordinary views from its balcony a lovely spot for a couple to enjoy a romantic private breakfast or sunset cocktails. In the bedroom, guests will just melt into the ambiance of the rich chocolate-accented decor, packaged in glass, teak, and coffee-coloured marble. Here, the king-size opium bed is a place to celebrate sweet and delicious joys, while the breezy ensuite bathroom, characterised by slatted walls, offers a refreshing rain shower.
