Villa BendegaRato greets you through antique Javanese doors before you walk across a traditional Balinese pond. A vaulted open plan living and dining area opens out onto the lush tropical garden and the 18x5 meter grey slate pool. A pool bale with its antique teak bar and table seating ten, provides the perfect place to unwind. A separate media room, complete with state of the art audio and video equipment, will keep you entertained. Upstairs, a sundeck and rooftop bale provides paranoiac views of the legendary Bali sunsets.

There are three bedrooms each with large en-suite bathrooms. The two upstairs suites have comfortable seating areas and daybeds with views to Echo beach. The downstairs suite features a separate lounge and an outdoor bath situated in a private garden.For larger groups, there is a self-contained fourth bedroom with its own plunge pool, sun deck and private bale.

The villa is a short walk from the beach and fifteen minutes walk to Echo beach with its laid back restaurants and world class surfing. A short drive away are the chic restaurants and bars of Petitenget and Seminyak. You'll be close to the excitement but far enough away to truly enjoy the peace and tranquility of Bali.

Villa Bendega Rato has been carefully designed to maximize its 1,700m2 of land amidst the rice terraces of Canggu. The villa's main building forms a rough L-shape, with the main living and sleeping accommodation spread across the two-story length. One end has one of the three master bedrooms, with a rooftop sundeck bale above it. A18m X 5m swimming pool runs the length of the main building with the downstairs bedroom at one end and the pool pavilion at the other.

One of the great benefits of renting a villa is the option to relax and enjoy delicious food Asian and Western prepared where and when. Bendega Villas has 2 full-time chefs who love to delight villa guests with beautifully presented dishes from roasted vegetable salads, to Balinese chicken curry, to nasigoreng (fried rice), to steak and chips. They deserts are not to be missed either or his home-made jams and chutneys. They are happy to try out new dishes and even to share our kitchen with guests especially if they can show them how to prepare their favourite dishes.

The Villa also has its own pizza oven, from which the chefs provide gourmet pizzas upon request.

Daily breakfast is included in the villa rate and a menu of suggestions is available for lunch and dinner. Alternatively, menus can be designed in consultation with the chef and villa manager. In this case, food and other supplies will be purchased by the chef and charged to guests at cost plus tax and service and charged for at the end of your stay.

Wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks are also available on request and will be charged for at the end of your stay.
