Hale Ola is a 2000 sf 4 bedroom, 3 bath beach house that sits steps away from the waters edge on a spacious 2 acre oceanfront lot. The house is an original 1950s cinder block beach house with white tiled floors and a simple, island style interior. The property has large open lawns, tropical landscaping and beautiful views of the West Maui Mountains, Molokai and coastal views down to Kanaha Beach Park. Maui's famous sideshore tradewinds provide excellent windsurfing out front, with Kanaha downwind and Camp One/Spreckelsville upwind. The shoreline of the property is characterized by a cement retaining wall covered with foliage, shallow water and a small sandy beach cove for windsurfers and swimmers to enter the water (important: the sandy area can become eroded during summer/fall). On grounds are an outdoor shower, BBQ, equipment storage and a great outdoor Jacuzzi facing West Maui. Guests are able to walk down to Kanaha Beach and Kite Beach.

Location: Hale Ola sits right on the ocean. Although this property is fronted by a seawall, there is usually a small patch of sand at the front of the property for entry to the ocean (note this can erode during the summer, early fall). Windsurfing launch from the Hale Ola property is for guests of Hale Ola only. Kanaha Beach is within walking distance along the beaches. Other north shore beaches are within minutes by car: Baldwin Beach and Paia Bay. The swimming beaches of Kihei, Wailea and Makena are located on the South Shore, and will be approximately 30 to 45 minutes by car.

Oceanfront in the Stable Road area of Spreckelsville. This is a quick 2 minute drive to Paia, or 5-10 minutes into Kahului. (Important: this area is fabulous for windsurfing, but is subject to airport noise).
