Master suites:
Villa Jamalu features two master suites: the first, located on the top floor, enjoys panoramic ocean views while the second, positioned on the ground floor, looks out onto the sparkling saltwater swimming pool. Both of these stylish air-conditioned suites feature luxuriously canopied king-size beds, iPod docking stations, televisions and DVD players. Both opulent marble ensuites feature rain showers, while the lower suite has the addition of a tub and the upper suite a jacuzzi bath.

Junior suites:
The two junior suites, located on the ground floor, boast large glass doors which open directly to the pool deck. These light and spacious air-conditioned rooms are beautifully appointed, featuring king-size beds, iPod docking stations and marble ensuite bathrooms with rain showers. Two trundle beds provide additional sleeping space for kids.

Lounge rooms:
Villa Jamalu's three lounge and entertainment areas are all tastefully decorated and supremely comfortable, featuring state-of-the-art Bose sound systems.

The top floor lounge is light, spacious and airy. It is furnished with an L-shaped sofa and matching armchair and equipped with a 50-inch television and a DVD player. Making the most of the magnificent view, glass sliding doors run the length of this room and can be closed for air-conditioned comfort or opened to let the fresh sea breezes to flow through.

The ground floor living area, which overlooks the swimming pool, is furnished with a sofa, chaise lounge and antique four-poster daybed, and is decorated in earth tones, blues and greens to reflect the beachside environment. Battle it out on the PlayStation, curl up with a magazine, or watch a movie while keeping an eye on the kids in the water.

The basement is home to a cozy and intimate entertainment lounge equipped with a full size American pool table, drinks fridge, sound system and ample seating for enjoying the television.

Kitchen and Dining Room:
Situated up on the top floor of the villa, Jamalu's modern kitchen flaunts luscious shades of chocolate brown and is well-equipped to meet the needs of the gourmet chef: the fantastic array of crockery and cooking utensils, a double fridge, a wine fridge and Nespresso machine, all ensure that every meal at Villa Jamalu is a memorable one.

Adjacent to the kitchen, the twelve-seater dining table is ideally located to either watch the chef in action or gaze out at the ocean vista.

Outdoor Living:
The rooftop terrace, with its sweeping ocean views, is delightful at any time of day: enjoy an early morning breakfast accompanied by birdsong or, later in the day, relax with a crisp white wine and let the gentle sea breezes envelop you as you marvel at one of Bali's famously spectacular sunsets. At night, gather for a candle-lit meal at the alfresco dining table, which seats up to twelve diners in a convivial square.

The 15 x 7-metre saltwater swimming pool forms the focal point of the villa's ground floor. Tiled in green stone, and deliciously deep, the pool is bordered by Palimanan stone and wooden decking and furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas. The most coveted poolside spot, the bale pavilion, offers comfort and shade. Parents need not worry about the little ones as a pool safety fence can be erected if required.

One of the greatest advantages of staying in a villa is the personal service provided by a dedicated team of professional staff. The team at Villa Jamalu has been thoughtfully recruited according to their skills and personality; many of them are part of the local village community and have been working at Villa Jamalu since the day it opened.

The aim of the staff is to look after every villa guest - from toddler to grandparent - in true Balinese style. The villa manager and chef, in particular, will be only too delighted to discuss your desires or concerns and do what they can to guarantee a relaxed and enjoyable holiday.

Villa manager
- Villa manager, Milani, has worked at Villa Jamalu since 2006 and is responsible for overall operations including staffing, special requests and guest satisfaction. Milani speaks excellent English.
Chef
- Chef Komang has been preparing delicious Asian and Western cuisine at Villa Jamalu since 2008. She is at the villa daily to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner and is very happy to accommodate special requests such as catering to dietary needs or devising dinner party menus.

Villa Jamalu also provides: housekeepers, a gardener/pool attendant, 24hr security staff.

Location:
Located on the slopes of the secure Temple Hill estate, Villa Jamalu is a few minutes' walk (the staff will happily show you the shortcut) from the tranquil waters and white sands of Jimbaran Bay, where the shallow sea is ideal for swimming and paddling, and the perfect beach for families with small children.

Once a quaint fishing village, Jimbaran is now home to some of Bali's finest five star resorts such as the Four Seasons, Ayana and Karma. It still retains much of its rustic charm, however, and its bustling fish market supplies the whole island. Jimbaran Bay is well known for its legendary beachside warungs, which serve the freshest local seafood. The nearby Menega Cafe comes highly recommended by Villa Jamalu's staff.

Padang Padang, Bingin and Dreamland, some of the island's most famous surf breaks, are twenty-minutes' drive to the south and the New Kuta Golf Course is just fifteen minutes away by car.
