Guests are treated to premium bedding, including high thread count sheets. Towels are above standard and in ample supply. The 5 full and two half bathrooms are supplied with L’Occitane bath products as one would find in luxury resort hotels. One of the most appreciated luxuries at Ballast Point 34 is the provisioned kitchen and cabana bar, including a full complement of spices and staples. The House: Ballast Point 34’s floor plan, all connected by elevator, offers places for guests to gather, while allowing for a high degree of separation and privacy. Virtually every room at Ballast Point 34 offers breath-taking sound views.

The home offers three luxurious master suites and 4 additional well-appointed bedrooms. All three master suites offer spa-like bathrooms with custom showers. Two of these have separate jetted tubs. Both the expansive top floor great room and the cozy second floor den have gas fireplaces. The top floor great room flows into a roomy kitchen with such features as two dish washers and a subzero refrigerator. The first floor offers a recreation room overlooking the pool and sound with pool table, flat screen TV and a bar with refrigerator. Outdoor Amenities: Ballast Point 34 has always offered superior outside amenities with its sound front pool, cabana and numerous porches.

EXTENSIVE NEW UPGRADES for 2014 will place the property’s outdoor living space in a class of its own on the Outer Banks. The private pool is being upgraded to standards one might find at a high-end Caribbean resort, starting with a 4-sided infinity pool three times the size of the existing pool. A walk across stepping stones will lead to a four sided infinity spa which will be sunken into the pool. Chaises and an umbrella will sit on a shallow water shelf area overlooking the infinity edge across the sound. A $500 deposit will be taken for gas use on the new heated pool/hot tub. The meter will be read before and after your stay. If less than $500 in gas is used, the balance is refundable. Any gas use over $500 is due by you. Ballast Point 34’s inviting pool cabana with bathroom and full refrigerator is being upgraded to include a dishwasher and 70-inch flat screen TV overlooking the pool. A new private 100 foot dock and pier from the pool area out into the Roanoke Sound will complement 70 feet of dedicated dock area in the sheltered Ballast Point Canal, accommodating our guests’ boating and fishing activities. The property has its own fish cleaning station and commercial 400 lb. per day ice maker to accommodate even the largest catch.
